Presidential Search Petition: Reviving Light and Truth at Yale

On November 6, the Buckley Institute released a new petition calling on the presidential search committee and the Yale Corporation to take several steps to ensure that the next Yale president prioritizes free speech and open discourse at Yale. The petition calls on the search committee to make commitments regarding free speech and make reforms to the committee itself, and asks both the search committee and the Yale Corporation to expect all candidates to make substantial commitments toward improving free speech on campus as part of the search process. Only by doing so can Yale truly restore Lux et Veritas. 

 

The Buckley Institute will share the petition with the presidential search committee and the Yale Corporation.
